Blue Star Police Training is owned and operated by MTL Training and Consulting LLC. All questions pertaining to this privacy policy can be directed to info@bluestarpolicetraining.com. 

The purpose of this privacy policy is to inform users of our site of the following: personal data we collect, use of collected data, access to collected data, the rights of site users, and the site’s cookie policy. This privacy policy applies to all site users in addition to our terms and conditions policy.

By using this site users (you) agree to the privacy policy and terms and conditions policy as well as the collection, use, and retention of all data listed in this privacy policy. Otherwise, please leave this site immediately. 

Data Collected: 

We only collect data that aids in achieving the purpose set forth in this privacy policy which includes: links clicked, content viewed, data input by the user such as name, address, age, date of birth, sex, email address, phone number, social media accounts, employer, employer contact information, and payment information. This data may be collected using the following methods: registering for training or services provided, creating an account, signing up for newsletters or other marketing information, general inquiries and emails to Blue Star Police Training. Data is retained indefinitely for the purposes of marketing, advertising, enrollment, and record keeping. 

How Collected Data is Used: 

Data collected through our site will only be used for the purposes specified in this privacy policy. Your data will not be sold or used beyond the disclosures of this privacy policy. Data collected is used for website improvements, marketing, statistics, registration, generating course related materials specific to the user, billing, and communications. 

Who Data is Shared With: 

We share user data with the following third parties: marketing and advertising subcontractors, billing agencies, web design hosts, other subcontractors directly affiliated with MTL Training & Consulting LLC. This data is shared with third parties for the purposes of: marketing and advertising, registration for classes and services, billing, and other necessary venders to ensure the successful operations of MTL Training & Consulting LLC. Third parties will not have access to data beyond the scope of what is necessary to complete their performance objective. Furthermore, your data will never be sold to other companies. 

In limited circumstances, your data will be shared with other third parties not listed above if: required by law, required for legal proceedings, insurance requirements, to buyers or potential buyers in the event we seek to sell the company. 

MTL Training & Consulting LLC has no control over and is not responsible the privacy policies or terms and conditions of third parties and their sites, including those companies and sites which your data is shared with.

How We Protect Your Personal Data: 

In order to protect your personal information, browser encryption is used and all data is backed up on a server in a protected location. This data is only accessible to employees who are bound by strict confidentially agreements and subject to termination for policy violations. 

All reasonable efforts and precautions will be made to ensure user data is secure. However, knowing the internet in general is potentially unsafe, MTL Training & Consulting makes no guarantees of the security of the user data beyond what is reasonable and practical.
